Shifter sleeve for Maserati 4200 Coupes and Spyders GT's with a traditional manual transmission. Replacement for part 980001110. This part is lifted up in order to allow the transmission to go into reverse. A worn out sleeve can cause issues going into first, second and reverse gears.
Prior to changing this, make sure the shift linkages at the transmission are free to move and the cables are correctly adjusted as those are common issues with shifting.
Shifter shown not included. Re-use spring which pushes this sleeve down from the old shifter.
Note: These sleeves can be customized at an additional charge. Most common reason would be to shorten or otherwise alter the sleeve to fit aftermarket shift knobs. Typical customization charge is $100 although it may be higher for more complicated changes. Contact us to discuss your specific needs.
