Maserati 4200 Coupe / Spyder Transmission Hydraulic Pressure Accumulator Kit

CambioCorsa / F1 transmission accumulator kit for the Maserati 4200 Coupe / Spyder.  This kit uses a Fiat / Alfa Romeo / Lancia accumulator (part 71751195) to replace the Maserati part 179143.

The new accumulator bolts to the right side of the transmission, just in front of the rear axle.  A premade high pressure hydraulic hose connect it to the top of the valve block.  The stock accumulator, located above the transmission can be left in place, although its tube needs to be removed.  The transmission does not need to be removed from the car for installation.

The accumulator is a wear item of the transmission shifting system.  Over time, the nitrogen pre-charge in the accumulator escapes, one molecule at a time, reducing the effectiveness of the accumulator.  Since the stock accumulator cannot be charged with nitrogen again, it needs to be changed.  The accumulator used in this kit allows using a lower cost Fiat part, reducing the replacement cost.

The kit comes with the accumulator, mounting brackets, installation hardware, fittings, and connection hose.

This maybe adapted to 2005-07 DuoSelect Quattroporte 5 and possibly the GranTurismo with the F1 transmission or Alfa Romeo 8C.  Contact us if interested in installing in these applications.
